YES! Although we can't wait to serve the community by opening up our Scholarthon to everyone, it is ONLY FOR BETHEL MEMBERS at this time. If you are a member, it does not qualify your friends and family to receive a scholarship if they are not members themselves.
Scholarthon: Dollars for Scholars Education is apart of The Bethel Church. You may email scholarthon@thebethelexperience.com or call the church office at (904) 354-1464 for any questions or concerns.
Aside from applying or donating on the website, you can download print out the application and mail or drop-off at the church during office hours Mondays - Thursdays, from 10 AM - 3 PM.
All applications are due by Thursday, June 5 by 3pm (office delivery) or 8pm (online submission). There are absolutely no exceptions!
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION
- Applicant MUST be an active member of The Bethel Church (at least one year) having completed New Members Orientation
- Eligible Applicants:
- High school seniors
- Students attending 2-year and 4-year colleges and universities
- Graduate students
- Vocational and trade students (Examples: barber/beauty students, welding, culinary etc.)
- Write a 500-word essay on your future goals, how the award will assist you in completing your educational goals, and community service activities
- Official acceptance letter from the college/institution (2-year or 4-year college/university, vocational school, or trade school)
- Proof of enrollment for upcoming semester/term.
