MINISTRY OPERATIONS

For ladies 19 and up, we believe in building and maintaining success in the areas of wholesome, wellness and womanhood.  WOP fosters environments. for women to use and grow their gifts and talents. Every 1st Saturday of the month at 10 AM we can be found serving in the community, being enriched spiritually or just sharing laughs and love.

For men 19 and up, we believe in fostering healthy relationships, providing a secure networking environment, and building healthy relationships as MEN of God.  moMENtum meets every 1st Saturday of the month at 10am. 

Our marriage ministry is for married and engaged couples in The Bethel Church under the leadership of Bishop and Pastor Kim. This ministry provides spiritual instruction, healthy dialogue and guidance for effective communication, conversation and prayer.

The most diverse ministry of The Bethel Church includes singers, musicians, dancers, choreographers, choir directors, technicians, thespians, songwriters, and MORE – blending their unique gifts to form one ministry that reflects the excellence of God and assists in enhancing #TheBethelExperience.

A/V’s mission is to ignite a spark in our diverse community through audio, video, lighting, and more creative programs that create the worship experience and ministry events – collaborating with Marketing/Creative Design and Worship & Arts so God’s people to enjoy #thebethelexperience. A/V houses camera men, sound crew, and more!

It is our opportunity to serve God by serving his people, making everyone who enters the sanctuary feel welcome and a part of The Bethel Experience.  This team is full of smiling faces and warm hearts exemplifying the love of Christ to all who attend Bethel.

Intercessors are trained and taught to pray the heart, the mind and the will of God our Heavenly Father. Our mission in prayer is to release the word of God in prayer as we stand in the gap to pray without ceasing on behalf of others. The team members are always willing to make the necessary sacrifices in taking the time it takes to pray.

 We offer support to members who have a need to fellowship during their grieving process with others who might be experiencing some of the same issues and concerns. We offer quarterly workshops in specific areas and make referrals to the Bethel Grief Counselors, when necessary. 

We have a team of medical professionals ready to assist and provide evaluation and treatment as necessary to stabilize the physical and mental health of persons attending services and church sponsored events. 

“The Bethel Experience Bowling League is a good way to socialize, fellowship, and have fun together building friendships, morale, communication, teamwork, unity, and understanding. Our bowling league is a handicapped league which will even the playing field for experience and non-experience bowlers to compete.”

Our fitness team provides fun ways of engaging and improving physical health.  Line Dancing is the favored activity of the other programs to stay active.

With 100+ deacons, our basic thrust is to act as an extension of Bishop McKissick, Jr. to provide basic and spiritual needs to the members of the Bethel Church. Toward that end, we are an extension of him and act on his behalf as we exercise those duties and responsibilities in seven Connection Circles.

From the front door with warm greetings to the back door with sweet salutations, we proudly serve as greeters for worship services.  Our team also assists in places where volunteers are needed to help make events successful and #TheBethelExperience unforgettable.

 This area attends to the concerns of the families of Bethel. We develop a greater sense of community by making a large church feel like a small loving congregation. See the Connection Prayer list below (those in need of special prayer and prayers for bereaved). 

 We share the gospel of Jesus Christ in every community in Jacksonville, FL., and provide prayer, food, clothing, and other resources as needed.
Healing & Recovery will provide a loving, safe and confidential environment, where people can come and receive Compassion, Support, and Encouragement through Scriptures, Testimony, Prayers and Unconditional Love 

This ministry focuses on civic engagement on all levels to inform and inspire the greater community on pertinent issues

Develop Business owners and prospective business owners with godly principals and the skills needed to start and grow a business. We have all resources of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce to help us to achieve this mission. Connect with other business owners in our church and within the community.

Bethel Enhancing Students Totally is a virtual and in-person school assisting students grades 3-12th with STEM, Tynker Coding, SAT/ACT Prep, Robotics, and more. REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

The Trustee Ministry is charged with responsibilities relative to the receipt accountability and proper stewardship of the Church’s finances and physical assets. The ministry is also responsible for the general maintenance of the Church’s facilities and grounds.
