Worshipping Ministries
The most diverse ministry of The Bethel Church includes singers, musicians, dancers, choreographers, choir directors, technicians, thespians, songwriters, and Audio/Visual all blending their unique gifts to form one ministry that reflects the excellence of God and assists in enhancing #TheBethelExperience.
Our ministry is production and social media (photographers, videographers, graphic designers, Audio/Visual, and more). We are responsible for managing two-way communication flow between the leaders and the congregation. We also oversee and assist in worship production to assure The Bethel Experience.
It is our opportunity to serve God by serving his people, making everyone who enters the sanctuary feel welcome and a part of The Bethel Experience
Intercessors are trained and taught to pray the heart, the mind and the will of God our Heavenly Father. Our mission in prayer is to release the word of God in prayer as we stand in the gap to pray without ceasing on behalf of others. While seeking discernment, an Intercessor must remain true and faithful to the call always willing to make the necessary sacrifices in taking the time it takes to pray.
Walking Ministries
We create an atmosphere conducive to Learn about the God we serve, Worship the God we serve, and Grow in the God we serve. Children experience the love of God through powerful age-appropriate messages, engagement activities, and much more. Bethel Enhancing Students Totally is a virtual school helping students 3-12th
OneWay is the youth ministry from ages 13-18.
his ministry offers digestible truth through lessons and experiences that make the transition to Christian Adulthood easier. The Motto is “One God, One Body, One Family, One Way. Here youth are challenged to be their most genuine selves, outside of the filters of peer-pressure and social conformity. OneWay is a catalyst for the future leaders of the world.
Pathway is the Young Adults Ministry from the ages 18-35. Here we dive into specific topics such as purpose, relationships, and dream chasing. Overcoming the disappointment of possible life expectations beyond education becomes a roadblock for many
Our marriage ministry is for married and engaged couples in The Bethel Church under the leadership of Bishop and Pastor Kim. This ministry provides spiritual instruction, healthy dialogue and guidance for effective communication, conversation and prayer.
For ladies 19 and up, we believe in building and maintaining in the areas of wholesome, wellness and womanhood. WOP is dedicated to fostering healthy relationships, providing a secure networking environment while opening opportunities for women to use their gifts and talents. Every 1st Saturday of the month at 10 AM we can be found serving in the community, being enriched spiritually or just sharing laughs and love.
The Fight Club is the Men’s ministry of Bethel. We prepare men to fulfill their divine purpose through workshops, bible study, and fellowship. There’s only one qualification.…come to fight. Meet us every 1st Saturday in the virtual boxing ring.
Keenagers ministry is designed for persons in The Bethel Church over 65 years of age. We engage in spiritual, physical and emotional discussions and activities for sustainable living.
Training the next generation of young ladies to be the example and change agent needed to make a difference in today’s culture through bible study, mentoring, activity and fellowship.
Witnessing Ministries
Attends to the concerns of the families of Bethel. We develop a greater sense of community by making a large church feel like a small loving congregation.
iSign Dear Ministry gives those in the deaf community the opportunity to exercise a lifestyle of faith through the ministry of signing.
We provide Military coverage to all active duty and retired branches of the United States Arm forces. This includes the United States Army, Airforce, Coastguard, Marines, and Navy.
Our ministry provides pastoral care, bereavement care, and clothing care, (especially for our homeless veteran’s.) Additionally, we educate and assure federal, state and local military benefits for which are entitled for serving our nation both within conus and abroad.
We share the gospel of Jesus Christ in every community in Jacksonville, FL., and provide prayer, food, clothing, and other resources as needed.
Working Ministries
School of Ministry at The Bethel Church provides a ministerial process designed to prepare the learner to excel in sound biblical theology and Christian doctrine, equipping men and women of God to preach and teach the Word of God.
With 100+ deacons, our basic thrust is to act as an extension of Bishop McKissick, Jr. to provide basic and spiritual needs to the members of the Bethel Church. Toward that end, we are an extension of him and act on his behalf as we exercise those duties and responsibilities in seven clusters.
The Trustee Ministry is charged with responsibilities relative to the receipt accountability and proper stewardship of the Church’s finances and physical assets. The ministry is also responsible for the general maintenance of the Church’s facilities and grounds.
We are responsible for transporting our members to and from church/ministry events when needed.
We assist in places where volunteers are needed to help make events successful. Such as events, funerals, community outreach and other ministries.
We serve in scheduled catering functions and special events at the request or discretion of the Bishop. We’re responsible for the upkeep of the kitchen facilities and adhering to all food and safety regulations.
Our team assures the safety of Bishop and The Bethel Church.
Bethel is a historical monument. We keep in touch with Bethel’s roots and keep The Bethel Museum in place.
Develop Business owners and prospective business owners with godly principals and the skills needed to start and grow a business. We have all resources of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce to help us to achieve this mission.
Wellness Ministries
We offer support to members who have a need to fellowship during their grieving process with others who might be experiencing some of the same issues and concerns. We offer quarterly workshops in specific areas and make referrals to the Bethel Grief Counselors, when necessary.
Provide a loving, safe and confidential environment, where people can come and receive Compassion, Support, and Encouragement through Scriptures, Testimony, Prayers and Unconditional Love
Fitness Ministry strives to be one with God by keeping up with our physical health. We also have line dancing, and other activities to stay active.
Medical professionals provide evaluation and treatment that may be required to stabilize the physical and mental health of persons attending services and church sponsored events.
“The Bethel Experience Bowling League is a good way to socialize, fellowship, and have fun together building friendships, morale, communication, teamwork, unity, and understanding. Our bowling league is a handicapped league which will even the playing field for experience and non-experience bowlers to compete.”
